Practical guidance on housing people who work away

Arranging accommodation for a team is rarely anybody’s actual job. It lands on whoever has the time, usually alongside everything else.

These guides are the answers we give on the phone, written down. What to ask before you book, where the money actually goes on a longer stay, what to sort out before people arrive, and how to handle the things that come up in week three.

They are written for the person doing the arranging, whether that is HR, a project manager, an office manager or the person running the job. No sales pitch, and nothing that only works if you buy from us. New guides are added as we write them.

Already have a requirement?

If you know where your people need to be and roughly when, you do not need to read anything first. Send us the four things below and we will come back with options.

  • Where they need to be
  • When they arrive, and roughly how long for
  • How many people
  • Anything that would rule a property out

All guides

Newest first. Each one is written to be read once and acted on, not skimmed.

Or just ask us

A guide is useful. A straight answer about your actual dates is more useful.

Call 01733 964574, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and describe the requirement out loud. We will write it down for you and tell you honestly whether we can cover it.
